Library Card Sign-up Month

Blue Island residents who register for a library card or renew their existing one will receive a chance to enter a raffle for prizes from Beggar’s Pizza, Flowers by Cathe, D’Masti Catering & Gourmet Sandwich Shop, Demar’s Restaurant, Iversen’s Bakery, Lyric Theater, Pierre’s Bakery, Pollo Locuas, Rock Island Public House and Studious Coffee. Already have a valid BIPL card? Just checkout an item to earn your opportunity to join the raffle.

To get a library card, visit us with a photo ID and two current proofs of residency such as a utility bill, voter’s card, or vehicle sticker receipt. Bring a parent or guardian if you are younger than 18 years old.
